Introduction:
Emphasis of the University of Alaska, Southeast - Superintendent Endorsement program is district-wide experience. The personal growth from building-level school leadership towards school district leadership has been a tremendous endeavor. Viewing education from a system perspective offers a valuable lens unavailable from the classroom or building level office. I have enjoyed the journey and hope to have emerged with more wisdom and strength than I had when I entered the program.
